Weekend HD
Stumbled on to a pretty nice old 5 inch nickle Heavy Duty at a Gun Show this weekend. There are still a few old ones out there.

It's very nice. After you get tired of it you should sell it to a friend from Tennessee. I'm not talking about Lee Barner, but the other one; NKJnut. Sometimes known as The Catfish Kid

That's a looker for sure. Nice gun to stumble across. How does the finish look, factory? Hard to tell from the pic but looks righteous to me. Any markings on the grip frame? I hope it comes with a good story. Congrats!!

I love that "dog bone" box of ammo just as much. I have been searching for one like that for photo purposes for years.

Thanks guys. Never have been a big fan of bright shiny things but I think they could grow on ya.
Unfortunately those very nice grips did not match the gun.

Very nice HD, Tony. Looks like you haven't lost your touch in finding the good ones. And I'm with Buddy about the "Dog Bone". Sometimes finding ammo that is appropriate to display with a gun is as difficult as getting the gun.

Unfortunately the craftsman who made it did not mark his excellent leather work.
