need help on this one
Hi ,my friend purchased this S&W revolver with holster a few days ago.
I only collect topbreaks and I don't know much about this gun myself.
my question to the more knoweldgeable members here ,what model is this gun and when whas it made ?

.32 Hand Ejector, Second Model (1903), Fifth Change. About 1916.
Good looking revolver! I don't see signs of refinishing. I hope your friend plans to store it in a silicone-treated gun sock rather than in that leather holster.

Mr Wilson thank you, 1916 is a surprise ,I can asure you that the gun wont be stored in the holster,the finish is original, MMMM I asked him to sell it to me but so far no luck,thanks again.

That is real nice...
I am especially fond of that configuration also - that Barrel Length with the Round Butt, and MOP Stocks, wow...it has everything going for it, and then some..!

Nice little gun. Note the case hardened ejector knob.
It will likely letter with those grips- they are factory.

Thanks for all the nice replies,if I ever want to be the new owner of this nice revolver ,than I think its best not to show my friend this thread ,and my topbreak is missing her companion.
