I mentioned in another thread I had a chance on 2 guns and pretty much sealed the deal today. A Model 66 no dash with a 2 1/2 inch or 3 inch barrel, although I believe 2 1/2 inch. Non-original grips but good shape. The other one is the one that intrigues me. Factory nickle as there is no sign of a refinish, 4 inch barrel, 5 screw, the last patent date which are on the right side of the barrel is 09, No made in the USA, the S&W logo is on the right side plate. It has the mushroom shaped knob on the ejector rod. Serial number is 2611XX under barrel, cylinder and bottom of grip frame. Both guns need a bad cleaning but are about 90%. Both package deal for $400. I will post pics when I get them next week.

You have a Model 1905 Third Model, if you have a square butt, or a Model 1902 Third Model if you have a round butt. Your gun was shipped right around 1916 to 1918.
