No one can predict the future especially these days and all Collector items have gone through periods of rapid price rises and then downturns including but not limited to Beanie babies and it happened to Collector Cars, Collector Motorcycles, Boats, Collector Plates, Etc. So what makes you think it's any different with firearms. That doesn't even take into account popularity as kids today love the semi auto pistols and rifles and that will also have a long term affect on prices.
I'm also 70 years old with health issues and my sons shoot and hunt and they have zero interest in revolvers and as a result 2 years I trimmed my herd of S&W revolvers from 37 to 11. Why, because they didn't know a thing about them and didn't want to learn when I tried to explain the popularity of S&W revolvers to them. So when I pass away they would have sold them quickly and cheaply so I decided to sell them and enjoy the money myself because I sold them for what they were worth.
No one can predict the future or where this country and it's economy is headed.
