Default Brazilian 1937 Finish

Were the 1937 Brazilian revolvers finished in blue or Parkerized? Thanks for the help!

Blue, a nice shiny pretty-much-commercial quality blue.

Like Buff says...

I finally got to see one which was very well preserved, and, the finish was a knock out, the same 'Commercial' Blue as other S&Ws of the latter 1930s...just beautiful.

Otherwise, all the other 'Brazil' ones I had ever seen were either old arsenal re-finishes of one sort or another, or, very worn down and weathered from damp and carry and whatever else, to where you could not tell really, what the original finish had been.
