Default 3rd model hand ejector

A fellow collector told me about a light box he purchased. I also purchased one and this is my first try. Nickel guns are hard to take photos of due to flash back and glare.
The gun was shipped March 1930.
I raised the bottom of the light box and changed light setting in camers trying to get away from the dark spot near cylinder release. The second of photos is a triple lock. I have never been able to take photos of nickel without glare or flash back.

I've been thinking that we need a 3rd model Hand Ejector picture thread. Toyman, maybe this can be a start.
Mine is a 5" . Ser. no. 298XX puts it about 1928 (poss. '27?). The stocks are from a comm. 1917 ('30-'33). (The stocks were a gift from a friend who will soon have the Peterson's Sherlock Holmes pipe he has been coveting these many years.)
Toyman, mine isn't as pretty as yours but it shoots well no one has messed with it.

(we shall see how this works.)

I have two third model .44s. This one shipped in March 1931. It is wearing a pair of Kurac smooth Magnas and a Pachmyar grip adapter.

The second one is the oldest known third model surviving. According to Roy Jinks, the first third model was # 28358. This one is # 28363. It was in the first shipment of 1926 .44s sent of to Wolf & Klar in January 1927. All 75 of them were 5" nickel.

This revolver is wearing correct, but not matching, service grips. It went back to S&W in February 1942, when it was renickeled and received new grips.
