Very nice revolver. Happy birthday!
Dick Burg would have to buy a flintlock for his birthday gun.
For myself, a matchlock would be more like it.

Happy Birthday to the both of you. I have a 1970 Birth YEAR gun, but I do not have my birth month....would be neat to have a birthDAY and year gun...my luck it would be a Rossi .22 revolver. Anyways, here is my birth year gun. It is from July 1970, but I too am a Pisces....February 1970.
"We have researched your Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 Combat Magnum Special Production, caliber .357 Magnum......serial number K953802, was shipped from our factory on July 6, 1970, and delivered to Charles Greenblatt Inc., New York City, NY. This revolver was listed as being built for Officer William B. O'Donald New York City Department of Corrections. The records indicate that revolver was shipped with a 2 1/2 inch barrel equipped with a yellow ramp front sight, nickel barrel, nickel cylinder, blue frame, and dark smooth rosewood grips. "

Birthday Guns !
Linda:
Happy Birthday to you...
But come on, you can't be that old.
Here is my Birthday Gun, from my Birth Day AND Year, courtesy of SDH, Mr. Mundell and this forum. One of my new favorites.
Obviously, my photo skills have a lot of room for improvement. I've learned a lot observing the photos posted by you, Steve and many other talented members of the S&W Forum. Once I upgrade my lighting system, I hope to upgrade my offerings.
Best Regards...
Mitch
