I found top break .38 S&W with the safety on the grips. This is the orig. lemon squeezer from turn of century. It is listed in SWSC as 38 safety then it's from around 1906 . SN 167xxx
They want $300 it's in very good shape. Also includes a pre war pre model 10 m&p box. Is this price reasonable ?
Well I came home and looked it up myself...looks like a reasonable price for the shape it's in. One in comparable shape sold on GB for 285 plus shipping and FFL . I am trying to get a read on the box. Is there anywhere you can find box prices at least relative? I was just on E bay a red pic box of .38 chief special pre 36 is up to $130!!
If I could find a 38 like that, I'd jump on it. And if I ever DO find
one that's mechanically sound for that price, I'll jump on that, too.
A 38 "squeezer" with a 3-1/2" barrel would make an excellent
carry gun, IMO. The 32's have about the same oomph as a 22Mag.,
and much bigger.
