Pre-27 with Ropers
Another one of my long-tubed 357's with a set of "Plain Jane" Keith Brown Ropers.
Thanks for letting me share,

Very nice gun Richard. I love the Roper grips so much that I ordered a set from Keith. K frame to go on my K-22 being converted to 32 long by Andy Horvath. The bbl will be 5" with a Weigand interchangeable front site base. Can't wait, the whole process will hopefully come together at the NE Ohio bunch May 12th. Larry

Hello Richard
Nice Registered Magnum. Here is the shorter version being my First Year 1935 Registered Magnum with it's 3-1/2" Barrel and Patridge sight blade shown wearing a set of Original Walter Roper stock's made by Matheis Gagne or possibly his son Albert, with the original finish still on them.....

Mike:
I'm still waiting on the letter from Roy to confirm a couple of things about the gun. The actual length of the barrel is 8 5/16", right in between 8 3/8" and 8 1/4". I think that it will come back at 8 3/8 (what I believe is the only RM barrel length that does not follow the 1/4" "rule"). I have the photos ready, just waiting for the final information.

Sort of like Jumbo Shrimp, Fresh Frozen, Military Intelligence, and Happily Married.

Here's an S prefixed long tubed M-27 (shipped March 61) with some stocks that
shall become legendary, if they haven't already.

Daniel:
Those stocks (Birds Eye Maple?) are beautiful, as is the 357 they are attached to. I have several sets of John's stocks and think that he is quite the craftsman.
Thanks for sharing,

You are correct Sir. Birds Eye Maple it is and John has some real talent. Thanks for starting the thread and allowing me to share.
