Default I frame 2" .22LR Nickel

I normally search until I find info like this but am coming up blank.

My buddy is trying to work a deal with me for an 1955 I frame 2" .22LR Nickel in real nice shape, I'd say 90%+. Problem is I have no idea what current value on something like this is. Anybody have any idea?

That sounds like it must be a Model of 1953 .22/32 Kit Gun, or Pre-34. Two inch barrel, good; nickel, good; 90% or more, good. These postwar non-model-marked kit guns are in-demand items, and with those features that might be a $500-600 gun. Pictures would help with the valuation.

Green Frog or Hondo44 might be able to refine that price, and several other forum members whose names don't leap to mind right now. I'm a little out of my depth on Pre-34s and the early model-marked specimens, though I know they are not cheap.

About six weeks ago, I picked up a petty nice Model 34 with 2" barrel in nickel for $350.

David is right on target with his estimate of value IMO. Maybe a little more if it's a sq butt.

These are not kit guns but show a sq butt on top left and the other three are round butt:

Leo, that's an exceptional deal at $350.

A 22/32 Kit gun, 2", and in nickle in 90% condition would sell closer to $450 in the Midwest.
