Holsters for J and K frames? Pic Request
Can you guys give me some suggestions on appropriate "period" holsters for the following S&Ws?
2 inch Chief
4 & 6 inch Model 10, preferably pencil barrel ones (police rigs??)
and 6 inch K38/model 14
I used a thumbbreak holster back in the early 90's as a baby cop, and I am partial to that style. Any suggestions, especially with photos (I likes gun pron!!) is appreciated. Thanks, Bill

My model 14 seems to like this Newcomb holster.
A 53 kit gun in a period Hunter 3100
6" 586 crammed into a Buchiemer Federal Man made for a K frame.
4" 586 crammed into a S&W K frame Threepersons style

Here's a well-worn M19 and a well-worn holster from A.W. Maier in Fredericksburg, Texas.

This floral carved holster by Colorado Saddlery would be great with your 6" K-38...
