Default 5 SCREW M-15 NO DASH ?

Hey Folks, I know ya'll want photos, however I don't seem to be
able to post them...had enough trouble turning computer on....
I have a Mod 15 No Dash, Pinned but not recessed, ser. #K3545xx
with Diamond Magnas which are not numbered to gun. Gun is 90 to 95 %. I am asking if someone could help me with a ship date ?
I mentioned 5 screw in title as there are 3 side plate screws, one @ front of trigger guard and one at fron of grip frame. Do all of these count??? Thank you in advance for any help you may be kind enough to provide....

The screw low on the grip frame is a strain screw and is not used in determining the screw-count varieties. Your gun is a four- screw revolver. (If it had four screws in the side plate it would be considered a five-screw revolver.)

Guns a little above K350000 were shipping in 1959-1960. That is consistent with the four-screw classification as the top sideplate screw was designed out of the model in 1956 and the screw in front of the trigger guard was designed out in 1961.

M15s of any era (including Pre-15s of the 1950-1957 era) are great revolvers. If you can eventually post pics we would love to see them.

Your 4 screw Mod 15 Pre dash sounds like a beauty. Don't despair because it's not a recessed chambers gun. The 38s never were; only the 22 and magnum cartridge guns.

Sounds to be a nice gun. Posting photos here is pretty straightforward.

Click on the Post Reply icon (blue background, white letters and "pages", yellow quill pen) just under the last message in the thread, then scroll down the page and click on Manage Attachments. A smaller window will open with an empty text box toward the top. Right next to Upload file from your Computer, click on Browse to search your hard drive for the location of the photos, add the location to the text box (on most computers, you find the photo in your computer's files, then double-click or on "Open" to do this), then click Upload. Finally, click on Close Window at the bottom once the photos are attached. You can add text in the empty text box at the top, then (finally!) click on Submit Reply. The photos should appear in the text when you post the message.

Once you do this once or twice, it is faster to do than reading these instructions! Hope this is helpful.
