Default 1951 Vintage K-22 Masterpiece

I bought this this week. Serial # K124XXX.
The trigger, hammer and cylinder release are Gold plated. I saw the grips on another K-22 on Gunbroker. If anyone can tell me the grip maker, I would be grateful. I believe that the wood is Zebrawood.

LJ:

That gold plating brings a whole new meaning and color to "color case hardening"... I'm not sure of the maker of the stocks, but they are beautiful wood and look to be well executed.

Congrats!

LouJoe, gotta love the gold treatment! The grips could be Sile, but I am not sure on that. Good looking piece! Good find!

Those look like Altamont stocks. But of course the above poster may be correct too. I have a pair of Diamond centers that look very similar from Altamont. Now that I see them together I am not so sure.

Your grips are probably made by Sile or possibly old Jay Scott. They are definitely not Alatimont, which are laser checkered.

Very striking combination with the zebra wood and gold accents.

With the proper amount of bling you can hang out with the guys in the hood.
