Default Recent acquisition of a Pre Model 10

A few days ago I traded for a Pre Model 10 in nickel with original grips. Appears in excellent condition both in appearance and mechanically. I believe it to be produced in 1956. The only problem is upon removing the grips I found three small spots of rust. Looking for suggestions on how to remove the rust without damaging any of the surrounding nickel.

Try Kroil, applied carefully with fine copper wool. Good to get it now, before it spreads.

0000 bronze wool with any good gun oil. Keep Hoppes #9 away from nickel, it can cause it to separate and peel.
