Need help identifying two revolvers
First is a Model 40.
The second one I have no idea what it is.
If I could get some info on both as well as an approximate value I would greatly appreciate it

It looks like a .32 Safety Hammerless 3rd Model, built between 1909-1937. My guess as to value would be $200-250.

That's a 38 safety hammerless 4th model from around 1905.

AH, I would say 38 S&W. Value about right. I think a 4th model.

Did you enlarge the picture to read the caliber?

There's no caliber stamp. I use the cylinder method to differentiate between the .32 and .38's. If the front of the cylinder extends forward beyond the trigger guard, it's a .38.

Thanks for the replies.
The second one is a .38
About how old is the model 40 and can anyone give an approximate value on it?

Model numbers began in '57 / '58, and the series ran through 1971 at serial number 30160 so I'd guess yours is late '50 to early '60s, but there was no routine number per year so it truly is only a guess.
It appears your Model 40 has some cosmetic challenges, but that might be glare making me think that. Considering what I perceive to be cosmetic challenges I'd put in the in $400 - $450 range.
