Default Pre-27 finds a new home.

Once in a blue moon I get lucky and find something worth posting.
No box or papers, but I'm a shooter and not a collector. If someone would be so kind,
I'd appreciate a little help with a date of birth on this one. Serial number #1296XX (Late 1954 or early 1955?)

Thanks,

Murphy2000

According to the books it would be as you suspected 1954-55 period. Very nice gun. Is it a 6 1/2 incher? Thanks for sharing with us.

Very nice Murphy, congrats on that one.
I too like shooters. I just like the extra nice ones.
That one looks really nice, just the way I like em.
