Default My Triple Lock .44 6 1/2"

Picked this up not long ago, got about $450 in it. Good mechanics and good bore. Darn thing shoots better than my 24-3! #13xxx Might get a letter?

Good buy. Letter's will give you the ship date and to where. Probably won't find out anymore, but there's always the slim chance these old guns could have gone to someone or someplace interesting.

I have a 5" TL, # 1330, and it is extremely accurate. Wish I could shoot it as well as it capable.

Paul,

From the looks of the wear on those grips that fine old gal served someone long and hard. She deserves to have her history documented as fully as possible.

You are into that one inexpensively enough that the investment of another $50 would be worthwhile. At the very least, you will record for all time the birthing records and you might just hit a home run and find some significant history to research.

Bob

I agree with Bob; there is no serious reason not to letter that gun. May you find an interesting origin story for it!

Clearly a working gun with a long history. Those can be some of the best. Great score!
