Happy Birthday 5" .44 Magnum (pre-29)!
Happy 55th!
"We have researched your .44 Magnum Four Screw Variation, Special Order Barrel Length, caliber .44 Remington Magnum, in our company records. These records indicate that your revolver with serial number S176009, was shipped from our factory on April 16, 1958, and delivered to H.H. Harris Co., Chicago, IL. The records indicate that this handgun was shipped with a 5 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered Goncalo Alves target grips. This shipment contained 25 units in the special 5 inch barrel length." -Roy Jinks
I need to get her out for some sun and update the picture.

Don't you know, you should post pics with guns in pairs! Where's the other one? I guess one is better than none! Wish her "happy birthday" for me! That's one to be proud of!

I know I know Joe, I think it still has your fingerprints on it
...this one is 98-99% but I think my uncle's 5" Pre-29 is 100% and possibly unfired. I'll take a picture with that one.
Thanks for all of the "Likes". This gun actually came from my good buddy "SigKev".

Nick, terrific looking gun! Anytime I see an gun with an unusual configuration in our area I immediately think that it might be a H.H. Harris gun. I think it would be an interesting project to put together a collection of Harris guns.

The funny thing is that this gun was found by SigKev at the Cabela's in Hammond, IN. Due to it's proximity to Chicago, he knew it would probably letter as a Harris gun.
Fortunately for Kevin, and me, Cabela's did not realize the value and scarcity of the 5" variation.
