Default A fair deal?

I was at the local pawnshop picking up a couple of Smith's and was offered a 5 screw pre model 15, my guess atleast 80%, lock up was good and tight, really need to look at it closely though. The guy I deal with will let me have it for 300 bucks and will more than likely have to pay tax so 321 total. Don't really need another 38 special but.... dont have a model 15 either.

When I run into something like that,I ask myself one question. "Can I get my money back out of it easily?" If the answer is yes,I buy it.

If you buy it you will have to post pictures. If you don't, let me know so I can run down to look at it.

thank you for the replies, I am going to take a closer look tomorrow. The two Smith's I picked up were an 8&3/8 inch, 1957 K22, 4 screw, the other, a 1952 pre model 14, both in the 90% area.

That would be a great deal in this area. 500 would be more the norm.

When I'm considering one, my main thoughts are:
Do I like it?
Do I want it?
Can I afford it?

That is all.
I don't have a problem. I can quit any time. Well, if I wanted to, anyway.

Exactly this.
I can quit any time, also - if fact, I HAVE quit many times.

I've repeated step 2 of the 12 step program so many times I don't remember what step 3 is. Withdrawal gets me every time.
