Default APD 38/44 #151

A few months ago I met a gentleman who resides in Tom Greene County, whom I can say has become a good friend. While visiting the Concho Valley this weekend, my friend graciously invited me into his home. After a very pleasant visit admiring his collection I was able to leave and return to Austin with this fine Smith/Wesson.
This revolver does not show any signs of being returned to the factory for refinishing. It shows some honest wear, I like to think it was carried by a real Austin cop, not sitting behind a desk.
I have learned this gun used to be owned by a fellow forum member, whom I hope will be along soon.

Enjoy.

Very nice, Larry. You're pulling farther and farther away from the rest of us with those APD prizes.

Larry, I think you are trying to re-equip the entire Texas Capital force with old weapons... are you trying to get your hand on their new stuff? BTW, thanks for the tips on two other guns.

Must be a bunch of nickel Heavy Duty revolvers in Tom Greene county. They seem to come out of the underbrush. Great revolver!

There's a gun show there next month. You gonna be back in town?
