King Super Target question
How is the rib attached, does it touch the bbl. Does it attach to the front sight and the frame? Would a King Super Target have to be re- blued after King worked on it? Need to know about the re-bluing, I know someone that has one for sale and it's factory reblued. Anyone have pics of the rib. Thanks, Larry

The front of the Rib is pinned to the original sight boss and it is held by a screw on the top strap. As far as the reblue goes,I have no idea.

Nope, shouldn't have to re-blue the gun after the rib is put on it. Both of my King Super Targets have the factory finish on them, with the rib simply added on.
I did see one King Super Target .38 that had been re-blued after the rib had been put on the gun, it was pretty heavy handed and ruined the gun in my book. It made me very sad. Much like a gun that was recently on gun broker that had been nickled. They are just so pretty when they left King.

Thanks so far on the answers. Does the King conversion add value over the price that would be for the original gun? Larry

absolutely. But, the reblue will certainly decrease the value somewhat.
