Son (SAFireman) acquired this K22 this morning (well, actually his wife did) and now we're negotiating on a trade, maybe. Serial number is K57xxx which SCSW dates as 1948. Sharp shoulder grips match. Is this a transitional model? Thanks.
Randy--This revolver is not an outdoorsman it is a post-war K-22 masterpiece. It is not a transitional because it does not have any pre-war features. It has a short action,speed hammer,4 line address,small ejector rod knob. It looks like a very nice early post-war K-22.
