6" barrel, bluing about 20%, grips are not original.
$200. Is that a good price?

Mechanically sound, no corrosion issues, reasonably clean bore, then yes, that is a good deal.

Id buy just about any old Smith for $200. Like bruner states, no major rust or function issues, it's worth it.

At that price, mechanical condition is the most important consideration, also whether the bore is rusted out. If it is functional and has a reasonably sound bore, $200 is a good price. Be aware that .32-20 ammunition is not very commonly found in stores and can be expensive. If you are buying with the intention of shooting it a lot, you should consider reloading.

My LGS had one with a round butt, at a good price for a long time. I was tempted to buy it, but I needed another cartridge to load for like I need a hole in the head. I can't find enough good bullets and powder for what I load for now. That gun was in really good shape, too, considering its age.

So I went back to LGS to take a closer look at this revolver.
Seemed mechanically OK, but the barrel was dark and had dents inside.
Didn't buy it.
Thanks for all advice.
