1960 M36
I finally got around to cleaning this one up. I got it 5-7 years ago back when Smiths were cheap and all the LGS's and Pawn Shops had lots of old ones to sell. It's a great example of a gun that was carried but shows few signs of being fired much. Back in the 1960's we all played with our guns. . .they were more like toys. I didn't know anybody who didn't spend hours dry firing his gun at the TV set. . .even knew one guy who shot it when trying to outdraw Matt Dillon. We didn't even know what turn-lines were! The top and bottom of this gun are at 98%. The sides, not so much. I'd give the gun 85%-90%. Only paid $225 for it and there were plenty to choose from at that price range. Times have changed.
