R J Monk received a Triple Lock in 1917...
The letter on a Triple Lock came today, and it was delivered to R J Monk, no address given. It shipped on 12 March 1917. Does anyone know if R J Monk was a dealer or an individual and where R J Monk, individual or dealer, may have been located?

It is Monk or Monks? I see some pages on-line listing a Mrs. R. J. Monks in Massachusetts in 1917....

The letter states it was to R J Monk. Now, that doesn't mean that there wasn't a transcription error along the way somewhere.

A Google of R. J. Monks Mass gives you lots of trails to follow. American Gas Light Journal, Mercantile Loan & Trust Co., Moody's Rail Road Manual, Mass. Supreme Court, Suffolk Co. Professional and Industrial History, etc.
In the words of one R. Rogers: "Happy Trails to You!"...and keep us posted on what you find.
