Default 38 M&P model of 1905 4th change

Hello all, I recently acquired this old M&P model of 1905 4th change. Its got a target setup so I am hoping its at least that. I was suspecting re-blue but now I am not really sure? I would also like to know what year if possible? 501532 serial number.
