Default Baby Chief

The Rock Island auction last weekend included an early Baby Chief Special, serial number 69. It was part of 3 gun lot with a model 25 and a 38 M&P. My internet bid was $400 too low. I hope one of our forum members was the buyer, and that it has found a good home.

Do you have the link? What did the package go for?

What really frosts my pumpkin is when they make up these multi gun lots and mix C&R with non C&R guns. Living in MA I prefer using my C&R rather than trying to go through a FFL due to the draconian gun laws here. Several times I have wanted to bid on one of these multi gun packages but couldn't because one gun could not be brought here.

Did you see this one?

- 3" Baby Chiefs, with box
- 3" Model of 1953 Chiefs, 4-screw
- 6.5" .44 magnum, 5-screw

Went for $4,025 (might have been a steal!)

I was backup bidder on # 69 and second back up on the 3" baby. The 3" looked nib.
