Anyone have Victory revolver V120413?
If so, you need this ...
I know ... it's the ol' needle in a haystack thing. But maybe, just maybe somebody out there has it - and if they do, how cool would having this letter be!

This letter is a cool glimpse into the past even without having the gun. There are quite a few DSC-contract Victorys that shipped to civilian/commercial recipients in that general serial range in the fall of 1942.
I wonder what the facory turn-around time was on individual repair returns during the war. I believe the records which the SWHF has been working on are supposed to be accessible for those years sometime soon.

V120413 is not in my data base, nor has Roy ever provided a ship date via the Forum. Ferro Enamel Corp. is still in business. Perhaps an inquiry to them might provide what was done with the gun ? Ed.

Nah, Roy won't have that one. It was a Smith & Wisson revolver.

Good eye!!!
Probably a super rare gun too---I don't recall ever even hearing about one of those---but you never know.
