What's with all these gorgeous nickel guns lately? I've been trying (with some success) to resist buying nickel, sticking with blue and stainless versions. You guys are going to cost me a bunch of money with all these shiny toys!

Very Nice

Guessing its a 52-53 ?
Wondering if the stock medallions are plastic or steel ?

Im leaning towards plastic medallions and a serial around K-130,000 ish ?

What the heck is going on in Vegas lately? All kinds of beautiful old original guns being posted that were from Vegas. Guess I need to go to Vegas now. Anyhow that pre 15 is very nice and looks like original box with it too. I just love nickel S&W's they are so nice and shiny and... they don't make them anymore! Enjoy

The Vegas show can be difficult and amazing at the same time. Most of the Smith came to me from dealers and collectors who know what I look for and bring me things. There are other collectors who sell where dealers wait in line before the show for their stuff. You can hunt and find things, but you have to sift through a ton of junk. You get to a point where I say, "**** I am exhausted I have seen it all - done". The next thing someone walks up with a jewel!? Thanks for the post and yes this one is an amazing condition gun original serial box.
