Smith & Wesson 32 W.C.F. CTG, Sn. 96014 (K-Frame)
Would a Hammer for a I-Frame fit this 32-20 ?

No, it is a K-frame. It would have the same hammer as the M&P in .38 Special. With the nickel plating on the gun, any hammer you get may require some fitting. Also, the factory did not nickel plate hammers or triggers even if the gun was nickel plated at the factory. Yours was nickeled outside the factory.

Best option to find an original pre war K-frame hammer and trigger together may alleviate some fitting issues but I am pretty sure some fitting will be required to make anything work. The more parts you have that are already fitted to each other will be better. Most likely a .38 M&P 1905 4th change-parts will be easiest to find as many were made but somebody with gunsmithing skills is a must once parts are obtained. Good luck, keep is posted.

You could try Jack first gun parts. Look it up oline he sells many older parts for fine revolvers and guns no longer made.

Welcome to the Forum. gunpartscorp.com is your best bet. There are a ton of 32-20 and 38 M&P hammers out there, but you will have to match the era of your gun, since changes were made over time. Your revolver is a 32-20, 4th Change. The 32-20 4th Change was made from 1915 to 1940 with at least one change in hammer design over that time period that I can recall, so you will have to look for a period hammer from around 1920 or later. All hammers for M&Ps were case hardened and should fit.
Good luck on your hunt.
