I will definitely post more pics as soon as I'm back home. Those were the only ones I have on my phone. The gun is engraved, and everything is original to the gun. All literature, cleaning tools, bill of sale are still with this gun

Jv, do you know if the gun was factory engraved, or engraved after your family member purchased it?

Factory engraved 100%. And my apologies I have fat fingers the purchase date was 1939

Your killin' us here you know that don't you? To have a gun like that in your possession is beyond what most here could ever hope for and to have the provenance of the family history of a Texas Ranger LEO owned and engraved to boot.
