Default Mod 27 no dash age

Good Day,

I purchased a Mod 27 6" and am curious as to the age of the firearm.
The serial number is S191xxx
The revolver is not in the best of cosmetic condition and shows a lot of holster wear but it has a sweet trigger, does not appear to have fired too many rounds and everything locks up tight. Trigger is nice and sweet .

It is not intended to be a safe queen and also not interested in have the finish redone.

Any comments appreciated

Welcome to the forums from the cotton and peanut covered plains of the Wiregrass! Your Mod 27-0 likely shipped in 1959. How about posting some pictures of it so we can enjoy it as well.

Congratulations. We would enjoy some photos. I love a Model 27 sporting the wear associated with its age.
