us army model 1917 marked us navy
NEED INFORMATION ON U.S. M1917 S&W S# 4347 HAS ALL CORRECT STAMPS AND MARKINS ALSO STAMPED U.S.NAVY
ON TOP OF FRAME. THE GUN HAS NOT BEEN REBLUED AND

Nice low number. Navy 1917s are usually in good shape since they weren’t used in the trenches.
It should have grips with the flattened circle at the top and concentric rings on the sides of the hammer. Only those below the #15,000 to 20,000 have those features.
