If it's pre-Victory (without a "V" letter prefix), it probably shipped circa Nov-Dec., 1940, or even Jan., 1941; if it has the "V" prefix, it was produced much later in the war, probably circa Nov.-Dec., 1944.

If you wish to have your gun included in the Victory Model database maintained by my friend, ordnanceguy, and me, please post the full serial number along with caliber, barrel length, finish and a description or pictures of all non-factory markings. (If you'd rather, you may e-mail me off-forum at [email protected], deleting the "NOSPAM," of course).
