K-22 1952
Just showing off my K-22 Masterpiece again
Davis Carrol found this Birth Month / Year K-22 for me about 18 years ago
I bought the box from Dave Carrol when I gott the K-22 from him. I got a Helpful Hints (not shown) and the Cleaning rod from my friend Dan Tanko, and the SAT came from from Don Mundell
And yes; I have the diamond magna's that came on it but while correct grips they were not numbered to the K-22. Those on it are fiddleback Claro from John Culina.

Very nice K 22.
I have a 17-3 set up with smooth stocks and a Tyler T.
Putting a gun together with all the accessories has always been a fun endeavor!

Man, that is nice. I've got one that I've been told is probably from '52 (I'm a 52 Model myself), but I've never lettered it. No box or papers. All the numbers match though. I just put a BK on it last week.
S/N is in the K-128XXX range.

Nice; They were named well. a Masterpiece.
Mine shipped just four days before I was born; It hit the month and year so almost a trifecta birthday gun.

These are IMHO the very best 22 revolver ever produced. I have two birth year guns in the box (52 also) but haven't been fortunate to link October and 1952 into the same package.
Thats a nice package you have congratulations.

Great minds must think alike. I got hot to buy a birthyear gun couple years ago. After a long period of searching I found this '52 K22. One of my top treasures in the gun safe. It came with correct but non-numbered magas but I found a nice set of targets.

Very nice K-22 package, and the Culina stocks are outstanding. My K-22 is from 1948...it shows a little wear but is a great shooter. Just FYI...the box is a little rough, you might try carefully waxing the cover with some RenWax or Johnson's Paste Wax to help clean and preserve the paper. Enjoy!

I’m a 1952 model and was fortunate to fall into a k-22 all matching stocks with a tiny bit of thin blueing on the end of the barrel . She’s a k-1739xx. Sadly no tools , oh well .

Very nice K22 and a birth year gun, even down to the month you were born. It don’t get much better than that. I like those Culina grips. Very pretty.
I’m still looking for a K22 from my birth year, but finding a gun from 1941 is tough, so I’m still looking.
Meanwhile, here is my K22 from 1956 and it’s complete with original box and goodies. The Case Stag blue scroll trapper adds a little color.

Very nice!
My 1951 K22 Combat Masterpiece is not a birth year gun for me, but one of my M17s is (1967). K22s from the 30s to the 90s...

Since this post just is just titled K-22 1952, I thought I’d post my Combat Masterpiece with its original box. Pistol shipped in 1953, so only one year off OP nice Masterpiece.

Mine is the older brother to the OP’s gun. 1951. I got it with mismatched grips so I put Ram Horn and a T grip on it. It was owned by a town cop (elderly gentleman) but not sure in what capacity. He traded it in to LGS I bought it from. I acquired patch later.

Nice: It's got history. It looks like it may have an evidence number etched on it ( a shame but that was a common way of marking them). I wonder if the officer confiscated it?
