Default The "N" stamp on 27-2 nickel ???

Found a 27-2 nickel with box and tools. The gun looks mint. Question is the N stamp looks to have been made with three separate strikes. Very apparent on the grip. I think it may have been a blue model that was nickeled. Any thoughts. Thanks.

Default 27-2 Nickel

Factory nickel finish will have the N stamp on the frame under the grip.A refinish would have an RN stamp in a square stamped on the frame as well.Factory nickel should also have an N stamp on the cylinder face.I have nickel N frames with a double stamp but it doesn't mean a refinish.
