Default Show'n Off My New 4 Screw 44 Magnum

(Pre-29) 6 1/2". Someone was a little rough in and out of a holster but it has not been shot very much. The cokes got me.

Congratulations on your find. Doesn't like anything more than normal minor wear. I just bought a 1956 one about the same condition.

Default Show'n Off My New 4 Screw 44 Magnum

Very nice.I found this one some years ago and didn’t realize it had a factory refinish in ‘81. I haven’t lettered it,but believe it was made in early 58

Very nice .44 Magnum and the Cokes are great! My 4-screw .44 Magnum is one of the jewels in my modest collection...S117963, shipped in July 1958. I was able to pick this one up a few years ago for a great price mainly because the right Coke Bottle stock was chipped behind the trigger guard, and the revolver came with a much later mahogany presentation case. Retired Forum craftsman DWFAN worked his magic on the stock and restored it beautifully, and one of these days I will find a correct case. Enjoy!

Hawg Rider, are you sure that serial number is correct? Maybe S171963 instead?
Larry

NEVERMIND, I JUST LOOKED AT YOUR PICTURE AND IT’s S177963.👍

Yep, you are correct boykinlp- S177963. I must have fat fingered the s/n in my original post. According to Doc44, mine was part of a two .44 Magnum shipment in July 1958.

Very nice. Mine is S180xxx. It had the chip below the back strap but 44magget is going to fix that for me.
