Help with dating sight adjustment tool
I have a sight adjustment tool, steel handle with 9 rows of knurling, trying to get an idea when it was made.

As to when it was made---and with my cop-out clause up front---that being I pay little to no attention to these things------but!
My best recollection is they first appeared with the 22/40's (K-22 2nd Model) in, you guessed it------1940. I'm thinking they made a whole lot more screwdrivers than they did guns, because I'm also thinking they showed up again with some post-war guns.
