Many collectors of S&W revolvers have examples in their collections that letter as having shipped to Rex Firearms in NYC. I recently acquired a historically significant engraved
.44 Magnum that shipped to Rex's in early 1956 and I want to research the company for more information than I currently have on it. Do any of you have any first hand recollection of Rex or know anything as to the original owners and what happened to them when Rex closed it's doors in the early 1970s? I want to put as much factual info as I can together for an article I'm preparing for the S&WCA Journal concerning this .44 Magnum.
Regards
Chuck

Chuck

I recently found some quarter-page ad's in old American Rifleman magazines. I can
copy the 4 I kept for myself, or could even try faxing them to you, if you have a fax.
Let me know your preference.

Alternatively, I sent two extra pages to David Carroll, last week. He probably still
has them - you can check with him, and maybe he will give them up !

Let me know, Mike Priwer
