N Frame non-medalion grips come in several styles, depending on the revolver model. Which model are you trying to fit?

Randy,

As opoefc says, I can think of 4 types that would fit that description. Two commercial types, and two military. The very first N frames prior to around 1913 used concave checkered grips. The between-the-wars style (something like 1920-1930) used convex checkered.
The very early 1917 military were concave smooth, and the rest were convex smooth.

reg55, Try S&WCA member and grip dealer, Hugh May at [email protected] -- He has a large inventory of older grips of all types, however that's a tough type of grip to find. Good Luck, Ed.

Can any one post a picture of the grips that Reg55 is looking for? I'd like to add it to my reference files.
