Here is a 4 inch, nickel, Pre-war 38/44 Heavy Duty. From 1939 I believe. Enjoy.

That's probably(possibly) one of those old pre War guns that went back to the Factory for something simple and the Factory was nice enough to change out the Stocks for a brand new set as part of their "Customer Service" policy!

Post war magna's are hideous IMO. What was S&W thinking? The only post war stocks that are attractive are Cokes.
