Digitech, Tell us more about which S&W you have. Serial number needed. I assume it's a hand ejector design, caliber .32 S&W Long, but the 1908 part confuses me. Is that a patent date stamped on the barrel rib? Your gun could be one of the various .32 hand ejector models of 1903, or possibly a Regulation Police model, but I need the serial number to tell. The gun may, or may not be the right model for wood grips. Ed.

Last patent date September 14, 1909 stamped on barrel / Hand Ejector model / Serial 132970 / 4.5" barrel / .32 long / Nickel plated / Pics attached. Thanks, John -

John, Your gun is the .32 Hand Ejector, Model of 1903, 5th change. It was made about 1912 and is a round butt frame. Correct grips could be the black hard rubber or walnut checkered, but most likely was shipped with the hard rubber. Only a factory letter will tell you which. Ed.
