I have a Registered Magnum with a King Reflector front sight. The front sight blsde is easily removable and is 0.175 inches above the base. It is too short to properly sight in the gun with 158 grain bullets - point of impact is about 14 inches above point of aim at 50 feet even with the rear sight cranked all the way down. This is because the rear sight has been replaced with a post-war Micro sight.

Does anyone know if the King front sight blades were made in different heights and where they might be available? I've already tried Jack First and they don't have them.

Thanks

If it is a post-war rear sight, does it have the lowest blade in it already? If not, there is the easy answer. I would question this, however, as the frame cuts for the rear sight pre-post war are quite different.

Finding a blade for the King would be very unlikely.
