I have Herrett's grips in just about all grip frame styles and sizes...(All Shooting Star, Trooper or Jordon Trooper style...no others to speak of.)
I have one little I-frame .32 Long that I've been having a ball shooting lately- especially with lead going through the roof, I've resorted to going a bit smaller.
I'd like to know if Herrett's or anyone else did make any "target" grips for the standard round butt grip frames. I know of the "target" grips that S&W made for the I-frames with the little notch on grip frame- like on my .22/32 for instance.
I'd love to get a good grip somewhat similar to a target J-frame- but scaled so as to be larger, but not awkward looking! Has anyone had one made/have one for an I-frame?
I should just wait until Monday and give them a call...but I thought It'd be a good thread.

There are some Herrets grips listed in this ad
http://smith-wessonforum.com/eve/for...4/m/9291069422
for the round butt J frame. In my experience, J frame grips will fit an I frame revolver pretty well.

In my experience, if you ship your gun to Herrets, they will make custom grips to fit based on one of their several styles. Not cheap, but very nice work. I'd call 'em up and talk to them.

I was vacationing in Idaho two years ago, and drove to Herrett's for a look-see, since I had enjoyed using their excellent grips for so long.
The "factory" is in a rather small and plain single story building in a "mediocre" neighborhood. Not very impressive, and seemed to be a low-budget operation. I guess I had expected more.
The people there were nice and friendly, and the product is truly great.
