Default 1917 Brazilian

I need a refresher course on a 1937 Brazilian. It is serial number 1922xx. It has a flat top frame. My recollection is that this would have been one of the later post war shipments and it is correct with the smooth, 1917 military style grips.

Thanks

IIRC, it was built in the '30s and probably had checkered grips. I believe the postwar guns were built on "clean-up" frames from WW I and had the rounded tops.

I have two Brazilian 1917s, serial number 2083xx has smooth grips that are numbered 125 digets different than the matching numbers on the gun. The second gun, serial number1641xx has silver medalion diamond grips not matching to the gun.

Leftover WWI frames or not, did the Brazilian - ordered guns have any improved heat treatment?
