Default Price check on model 64-1?

I have a model 64-1 Oklahoma Highway Patrol revolver. I also have the wooden case with the OHP seal on it. Does anyone have an idea what the value might be? Gun is in good shape.

Commemoratives are hard for me to price. Some don't care for them while others love them. I will tell you the SCSW says there was 750 of these made in 1973 with a 4" barrel chambered in 357 Mag as a prototype for the M65. M64s are normally 38 Special. Maybe some one else will have a price range. Oh, welcome to the forum. We would love to see some pictures.

Default "Gun is in good shape"

Welcome to The Forum ,

This is the question most asked in the Smith revolver world. "Whats it worth? "

The short answer is ,: It's worth what you are willing to sell it for ,and what someone is willing to pay for it.

Regarding commemmoratives , if it is not new, in the box ,it is a shooter and will bring no more than shooter value.

Unless you were to find a member of the Oaklahome H.P> that wanted one and was willing to pay a premium for one so marked.

A shooter grade Mod 64 is between $200. and $400. depending who is buying and who is selling.

Pictures or a detailed description are crutial for an evaluation of any used firearm.

Good luck ,,Allen Frame

Hi, I have seen the OK HP gun you are talking about. I have seen them online and at a few gunshows. People are asking for them NIB around $600.00 I would only pay $500.00 personally. But if you like it buy it. I have a used 64-1 I bought to shoot for $275.00 out the door..If you want a collectable get it if you want it for a shooter PASS>>>>
