Question Quandary

I have a S&W 340pd that I carry all the time in an uncle mikes pocket holster. My oldest daughter has just turned in her paperwork for her concealed carry permit. I have had mine for about 9 years. Should I give her the 340 and then carry my Walther P99 AS or should I look for another S&W to replace my 340pd? I am starting to develop arthritis in the old finger joints.

Sir, IMHO you'd be wise to let her pick her own sidearm. Guide her toward quality guns, have her test-drive various things, and pay for it if you like, but she needs to pick it out herself.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

Hard to beat the Walther P99 - it's my favorite semi-auto!

I have to agree with Ron. I bought my wife a new Lady Smith and she hated it. Or maybe it was the + P's that she hated. I would let her try a few out for size and fit and then let her pick the one that she likes. You might like a semi and she might like a revolver. Especially if it's for CC. You want her to be comfortable with it especially if she ever has to use it in a "situation".
