My favorite two guns are my 10-5s. One's a 2" from 1962 & the other's a 4" from 1966-67.

A couple of months ago, just to be different, I bought a Simga SW9VE.

Well, I'm a disabled vet & chasing the brass all over just ain't cuttin' it. So I decided to sell the Sigma.

Tonight I was at that big Wally store & they had a box of Win USA 110gr JHP in .357.

Don't ask why, (I'm sure you know what's coming) that durn box follered me home.

Now I need a gun to fire it. As soon as the sigma is sold I'll be lookin' for probably a M13. I just like the clean look of fixed sights.

Whew! I thought I was the only one who did stuff like that!

I think the M13 is a fantastic choice. I would prefer it over the stainless M65, although a nice P&R M65 would be tough to pass up if the price was right.

Adjustable sights have their place, but I think S&W went batty over them, starting somewhere in the '50s or '60s and continuing to this day. For most of what a handgun is good for, I want fixed sights.
