Default N frame ejector shroud question

Been looking at adding a 4" N frame to my collection. Have noticed a lot of revolvers have a small gap between the bottom of the ejector rod housing where it hits the frame, see it with the cyl. open. my 19 is not like this. Does it mean anything at all other than cosmetic fit? Don't look like it would hurt function, but should I shy away from one that has this gap? Thanks for the advice

The gap is almost always there with any N or K frame that has the shroud; sometimes noticeable, sometimes small enough to be missed. Normal.
