Default Cleaning my Model 36 Blue and Stainless 686

I was told by my local gun shop that the only product to use on my revolvers is Break Free CLP that's it nothing else?.
The other day I bought a bottle of Hoppe's #9 and Hoppe's Elite. Can I still
use all 3 products on my revolver?
This is all new to me. Appreciate any help.

You can use Hoppes #9 to clean your blue and stainless guns with no worries at all.

Thumbs up

I use Hoppe's on ALL my guns; revolvers, auto's, rifles, and shotgun. Many other "gun" cleaning products would work as well.

Hoppe's is fine, just doen't use it on a nickel plated gun.

Hoppes works great and is a great product but it can cause problems with nickel guns as stated above.
